License Exempt Providers

If you have not taken a Great Start to Quality Orientation, you will need to take one to become a license exempt provider.

Here is how you can find Great Start to Quality Orientation trainings:

1. Go to the MiRegistry Statewide Training Calendar.
2. Enter GSQ Orientation in the Course Title field in the training filters.
3. You may adjust the "From Date” and “To Date” filters as desired. Click the Search button.
4. When you find a GSQ Orientation that you are able to attend, click the blue “Register” button and follow the prompts to register.

Here is how you can view your hours toward Level 2:

1. Log in to MiRegistry
2. Click on the Reports tab.
3. Open the License Exempt Training Report. This report shows the training hours you have toward Level 2, any remaining hours needed to reach Level 2, and if, applicable, your Level 2 start date and any carryover hours you have.
